I am Azzah bint al-Badawi al-Murabbiyyah al-Rualliyyah in these Current Middle Ages. For nine years I shared my journey in the SCA with an amazing mare named Aziza (reg. Dancing Colors), whose likeness is featured in my arms. She started me on the equestrian path in the SCA and, though I have lost her, I still strive for excellence (or at least competence!) in the equestrian arts.

I am also an apprentice to Maistre Philippe de Lyon, an amazing Laurel and all-around great person. In addition to the equestrian arts and sciences, I am studying persona development and a host of artistic endeavors. My primary "side" interests include garb making and illumination, but I have also tried my hand at pewter casting, poetry, inkle weaving, pen making, and numerous others. I hope to use this blog to document my projects and share information with my fellow SCAdians, particularly in the fields of equestrian activities and persona development.

Thank you for joining me on my journey!
